Warranty Information 

LIMITED WARRANTY:
Ceremonial Rings 

All rings valued at $2,500+ or are part of our Ceremonial Collection will come with a 3-year warranty for repairs with the below circumstances: 

  • Broken prongs, broken bands, and misshapen rings are covered free of charge within 3 years of purchase. 
  • The warranty does not cover any accidental damage and/or broken diamonds and gemstones, due to misuse, impacts, or falls. 
  • Center stone replacements are not covered by In the Light of Day Jewelry unless loss of the stone is determined by us to be due to a manufacturing defect. That said, side stones under 3mm will be replaced free of charge within 3 years of purchase. 
  • This policy is per ring. If the customer buys multiple rings at once that total $2,500+ together, they are not qualified for the 3-year Warranty. 
  • If a 3rd party has repaired the customer’s piece, then the 3 Year Warranty is VOID. We will still repair the piece, but it will incur a repair fee. 
  • Shipping will be complimentary up until 1 year after purchase, after which the customer would be responsible for all shipping fees associated with having the ring repaired. 
  • We offer complimentary annual re-polishing for any rings that fall under this policy. 
  • Outside of this warranty, we are more than happy to provide repairs at a subsidized fee. 

ONE YEAR WARRANTY:
All Production Styles 

  • Any style purchased within the past 12 months and not part of the above warranty, will come with a 1 Year Warranty for repairs. 
  • This means all repairs or necessary replacements will be covered as completely complimentary by In the Light of Day Jewelry within the first 12 months after purchase, even if the customer needs more than one repair within this time frame. 
  • The warranty does not cover any accidental damage and/or broken diamonds and gemstones, due to misuse, impacts, or falls. 
  • If a 3rd party has repaired the customer’s piece, then the 1 Year Warranty is VOID. We will still repair their piece, but it will incur a repair fee. 

Shipping costs 

  • Shipping for repairs will be complimentary up until 1 year after purchase, after which the customer would be responsible for all shipping fees. Some exclusions may apply 
  • International customers are always responsible for covering shipping costs in both directions. 

Jewelry Insurance 

  • While we make our jewelry with durability in mind, we still use diamonds and gemstones that can be fragile and need to be worn with extra care. Jewelry insurance allows you to put safeguards in place so that you can either replace your jewelry item or recover its monetary value in case of physical loss, theft or damage. 
  • Our Warranty Policy is separate from jewelry insurance.
